New homepage of PIV, new image film and brochure available
User-friendly and modern, this is how the new homepage of the Testing Institute Locks and Hardware [Prüfinstitut Schlösser und Beschläge Velbert (PIV)] presents itself. At www.piv-velbert.de interested visitors can get an overview of the testing institute and the tests offered. The PIV has also published a new image film and a brochure.
The homepage gives a good overview of the different accreditations and recognitions of the PIV, the offered test ranges and the PIV CERT certification association. Furthermore, the offered certification programmes as well as the certified products according to DIN standards, EN standards and RAL quality guidelines are listed. "We are pleased to be able to present a fresh layout and a clearly arranged site to our customers and interested visitors", says Andrea Horsthemke, head of the the Testing Institute Locks and Hardware. The PIV homepage is available in German and English. It is possible to switch between the German and the English version on every subpage.
In order to achieve a uniform appearance, the new homepage is visually oriented towards the website of the partner association the Association of German Lock and Fittings Manufacturers (Fachverband Schloss- und Beschlagindustrie) and the Quality Assurance Association Locks and Hardware (Gütegemeinschaft Schlösser und Beschläge) to which PIV belongs. In addition to the new look, the site is also designed in a responsive design. Thus, a view optimised for the corresponding end device is always displayed and the homepage is also fully displayed on end devices such as tablets or smartphones.
New PIV image film
Just in time for the start of the new homepage PIV also has a new image film. In about two and a half minutes the film gives an insight into the work of the PIV. On www.piv-velbert.de you can watch the film.
New PIV brochure available
Furthermore, the new brochure of the PIV is now available. The 40-page brochure is based on the homepage of the PIV. The readers will receive detailed information in a German and an English version about PIV, accreditations and recognitions as well as about the PIV CERT certification association. In addition, the test ranges are also presented here. You can download the brochure from the PIV homepage or request it via info@piv-velbert.de.
